One Kenyan tweep was lucky to see one of her tweets go global as Twitter itself printed it on a billboard and mounted it in Cannes, France.

“No objection whatsoever, go ahead and use it Crossing my fingers that my dream to be in a powerful billboard comes true,” the tweep who went by the name Giggles replied.

She has so far changed her name on Twitter from ‘Giggles’ to ‘Your billboard girl’ but her handle remains the same.

The tweep, who had an ambition of being on a billboard one day, had its dream fulfilled in June as it was posted in France.




The billboard was part of a campaign that Twitter was running to show its advertising prowess and the power of its audience.

@Kiritubobo was lucky enough to be chosen in a move that might put her on the spotlight.

Most KOT could not believe the incident had actually happened and went online to celebrate with her on her new found fame.



Some made fun by questioning what they had been tweeting and on what version of Twitter she was on.
