While speaking in a rally held at the Kimorori grounds in Kenol, Murang’a county, the CAS further added that the leaders were hotcakes and that they had something special that their attackers wanted.

“Hakuna mtu anakuwa targeted kama hana matunda. Gedi uko na matunda na zinaonekana ndio sababu unapigwa otherwise you would be irrelevant. (There is no person who gets targeted without something to offer. Gedi you have something to offer and its is clearly visible which is why you are being fought. Otherwise, you would be irrelevant.)

“Same story to Passaris. There is no woman who is attacked by men if she does not have anything to offer,” she stated.

Shebesh also recalled a time when she herself was attacked by the then Governor Evans Kidero and the entire scene played out in public for weeks. Miguna Miguna rejects Mike Sonko’s nomination as Deputy Governor

“Mimi nimezoea wanaume kusumbua wamama. Mimi walinipiga kofi, wakanianika, wakasema Shebesh ataisha. Hawezi win woman rep tutamumaliza. Sijui kama ni hiyo ilinimaliza because sikupata women rep.

(I am already used to men attacking women. They slapped me, exposed me and claimed I was done and that I could to win the woman rep seat. Maybe that was the reason I did not get the woman rep seat.

“But when God closes a door He opens a gate. Mimi saa hii ni waziri. Mimi ndio husimamia women rep hapa (Right now, I am a minister. I am the boss of women reps),” she continued.

It was at the same event where the former woman rep wowed Kenyans with her flawless dance moves to a Diamond Platnumz’s song ‘Tetema’.

She particularly executed the famous Shaku and Tetema dance moves by shaking her shoulders and jumping up wowing many of her fans.
