What Uhuru Kenyatta told the Man who wants to Marry hhis daughter Ngina

A young man from Tana River County had sought President Uhuru Kenyatta’s help in securing his daughter Ngina Kenyatta’s hand in marriage.

The Tana River County Representative was part of several youth leaders from the coastal region counties who had assembled at State House Mombasa in 2016 for a Coast Youth Dialogue Forum which was being hosted by President Kenyatta.




The youths who were appointed to represent their counties aired their issues to the President and when the turn for the Tana River youth representative came, he asked for more development but at the end, he took the opportunity to convey his interest in the first daughter.

The youth leader confessed his love for Uhuru’s daughter and asked the President to help him to get Ngina’s hand in marriage.

When the President stood to address the function, he commented on the development issues and during his address, he left everyone in stitches when he said that he could not help the man in getting Ngina.

President Uhuru, however, gave the youth leader a go-ahead to try his luck in getting his daughter.

“Hiyo ya mwisho jitetee. Na ukifanikiwa nitakula Christmas Tana River,” said the President.
