Migori Women Representative Pamela Odhiambo and her Homa Bay counter part Gladys Wanga have condemned the murder of the late Rongo University Student Sharon Otieno who was found dead in Kodera forest, Homa Bay County.

– Sharon’s body was found in a forest following a well orchestrated kidnapping ordeal

– Obado’s PA was arrested on suspicion of being behind the kidnap of Sharon and a Nation reporter

Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga has strongly condemned the murder of Rongo University student, Sharon Otieno, and warned ladies to keep off old men and focus on their lives.



Wanga called on the government to quickly investigate the murder of the student and bring to book not only the murderers but also the person who ordered her killing.

Speaking to journalists at Parliament buildings on Wednesday, August 5, the MP asked young women to accept their humble backgrounds and focus on working hard to improve their lives instead of relying on sponsors.



“This must be a a lesson to our girls, it doesn’t matter where you come from just be contented with what you have. Leave sponsors alone and focus,” she said.
“It does not matter who you are, nobody deserves to take a life. We want the real person behind this matter arrested and charged with the murder of Sharon,” Wanga added.
