BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

We are inviting applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates who are passionate about growing together our clients business, to fill the following positions:

Overall Responsibility
Responsible for business development through marketing and recruiting of customers, processing and disbursement of loans and ensure timely collection of the same to ensure healthy portfolio and a happy and satisfied customer base.

Responsibilities
1.Responsible for Marketing of Our Capital Ltd products and services

2.Facilitate recruitment and registration of new clients

3.Stimulate client training on Our Capital Ltd policies, procedures and basic business skills, loans, business, e.t.c.

4.Responsible to evaluate clients’ businesses and determine whether they are worth the amount applied for

5.Responsible for recording, verifying and assessing the security offered for loans with assistance of the Credit Manager

6.Responsible for loans processing.

7.Responsible for maintaining a quality asset portfolio as per the Our Capital Ltd requirements

8.Ensure that all clients repay their loans on time

9.Responsible for preparation and submissions of timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as per Our Capital Ltd requirements to the Credit Manager

10.Responsible for record keeping of clients loan status

11.Ensure client retention through excellent customer service

Qualifications
•A minimum grade of C+ (plus) in KCSE
•An undergraduate Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business related courses from a recognized institution or CPA(Section 4)

•Knowledge in Sales and Marketing, credit risk management & credit lending

•At least 3 year experience in the Micro finance lending, specifically auto log book secured
• Proficiency in computer is mandatory.
•Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements
•Clear understanding of microfinance industry is an added advantage.
•Good interpersonal & communication skills with excellent customer service.
•A team player with the drive to improve performance.
•Persuasive with strong recognition skills,
•Self-driven and possess the ability to work with minimum supervision
• Strong values, commitment and passion for the transformation of clients.
